A vintage Wedding

Filed in Wedding — July 12, 2013

Sometimes, I am trying to imagine, how my bride will look at her wedding day, what dress and accessories she will chosen. I belive that I know my brides and about their taste – as we meet several times before the wedding day. I love good suprises. My photographer heart is jumping, when I see a room full of accessories, happy faces and lots of great things to capture.

Nicole’s Style made me speachless.  Her dress, designed by herself and a designer, took my breath away. She planned every details, every accessory to her 1930 Style. Vintage. Perfection. Once she was ready with her finished look, we all – mom, bridemaids, maid of honor and a still speachless photographer – just stood there for a minute, looking at her. I felt taken back in time. Her bouquet was made out of broches, with a medaillon who had a photo of a passed love one. What a sweet, loving detail to have a person so close to you on that very special day! Andre dressed in a tailcoat with a matching hat and looked like a Lord. Together, they looked amazing! You need to know, that they both did not know, what they would wear at all! These two are just perfect matches…

Everything that day just fit together. Even the heavy rain pooring down that day. It made them celebrate inside of an old, antike Villa, perfectly fitting to their outfits. Their guests were ask to wear  something colored. Easy for women, a bit harder for men. So we were ending up having lots of fun, asking men to lift their trousers and photograph their colored socks! Guests were spoiled with a candy table and a great buffet. Nicole had another surprise for me that evening: She changed into a gala wardrobe. I could have go on that day to photograph details over and over again. With the darker light and the atmosphere it was simply perfect! Congratulations to you two, you were amazing!!
