It takes a lot of energy, courage and time to built up your own business. But I believe, that if you have a talent inside yourself, you just have to let it go and follow the path ahead. So it did Christelle, owner and desinger of “Petit Stellou”. I had the chance, to photograph Christelle in her lovely home, where she develops beautiful new creations for newborns and young children. Her whole style is in soft pale colours tons and her secret is “simply but beautiful”. You find Petit Stellou in Bern, Luzern and Zurich Stores and soon also at Globus, one of the biggest Swiss departement store. I simply fell in love with her creations and wanted to share these on my blog.

Engagement Session @ Peggy Porschens Cupcake Café in London

Sweet Love ♥

Isnt there a better place for making great engagement photos then Peggy Porschens Parlour Cupcake Café in London? A Café place more out of a fairytale then of reality. Soft pink is the main color, peonies on the table and the most delicious cupcakes such as “blackforest” or “Banoffee” are awaiting its customers. You just have to enter this shop, once you pass it on the main road. A perfect place, to start Alzbetas and Duncans engagement shooting this late afternoon in London at Elizabeth Street.
Continuing to the beautiful St. James Park, we past Buckingham Palace where these two spontanously posed in the middle of the famous “The Mall” road, where William & Kate made their entrance to the Palace at their wedding day.
London has some of the most wonderful gardens; in the middle of the busy city you find peace among nature and wonderful backgrounds for great photos. If the weather wouldnt have crossed our plans, we could have go on forever. I had so much fun with this lovely couple, also a special Thanks to Peggy and her Team.

Spring Weddingday * Hochzeitsreportage Luzern

When I saw Charlotte for the first time on her weddingday morning I was stunned at her beautiful hairstyle. How much I loved it! She looked so elegant and stylish. Her dress ready, she and her maid of honor had lots of laughter preparing for the big day. There are so many fun and special moments when the Bride starts to get ready. And she has peonies – my favorite flowers!
Charlotte&Franco planned their wedding in springtime when the trees starting to blossom and nature is beautifully green. Normally a rainy month, they have been rewarded with wonderful weather and sunshine to complete this day perfectly. They chose a small, intimate church on the top of a mountain in beautiful Luzern, Switzerland and a greenhouse to celebrate with their families and friends afterwards. A truly wonderful wedding. I call myself so fortune to attend those special moments in a couples live and memorize it for them for eternity.

We photographed their engagement in Winter time and already had so much fun together.

Little, sweet Julian is not only a blessing for his parents, he was born on a very, very special day. The 29 of February 2012. A leap year. Every 4 years, little Julian will celebrate on his real birthdate, the years in between, it will be either a before- or an after celebration. A special date, for a very special, little boy. Welcome Julian!

Tiana & Vassilis – Greek Wedding Vows

Some people get right to my heart. So have Tiana and Vassilis. I already had the pleasure, to photograph their engagement shooting last December (link) In March they celebrated their civil wedding in Biel, Switzerland together with their family and friends. Vassilis is from beautiful Greece, his Family joined the wedding which made it truly special. Tiana choose a dream of a dress in blue color, fitting to the Greece national flag. Even at low temperatures, the couple got wonderfully relaxed at the shooting before the wedding took place. They will be celebrate a big wedding in Santorini this year. Dear Tiana & Vassilis, it has been a true priviledge to photograph your special moment and may every day fill with happiness.

A new season will start. Even I already had the plaisure to photograph weddings in 2012, Winterweddings a sadly rarely. Now, almost April, nature starts to cover with a fresh, beautiful green again and invits us all to enjoy. Also with the spring, the new wedding season with many unique weddings will start. I feel so blessed to follow so many wonderful couples on the their most special day along.

Heartly matters… * Herzliche Momente

I always encourage my couples to bring accessories to their engagement shooting with matters to them. Bettina brought their wooden heart, made specially for them, cut out from an old wodden house before they tored it down. The result is a unique photo, very personal and not alike to any others. Especially in a grey winter time like now, red heart shaped ballons can bring a wonderful color spot into a photo. However the weather was, these two for sure brought sunshine into the picture.

Ich motiviere meine Paare immer, persönliche Dinge die sie beide verbindet zum Shooting mitzuehmen. Bettina hat ihr hölzernes Herz mitgebracht, welches eigens für sie beide aus einer alten Hauswand herautsgeschnitten, bevor das Haus abgerissen wurde. Das Ergebnis ist ein persönliches Foto das einzig ist. Jetzt im kargen Winter bringen farbige Ballons oder andere Accessoires tolle Farbtupfer ins Bild. Wie grau der Tag auch immer gewesen war, diese Beiden haben die Sonne ins Bild gebracht!

Winter Love * Hochzeit im Winter

Finally Snow in Switzerland! The low temperatures promised this wedding to be a snow-white winter wedding – and it was wonderful!
Christine contacted me one week before her wedding, 2 weeks after she started to plan. While some couples take 2 years for their special event to come, Christine had 3 weeks total – and did a fabulous job! Her Dress was just stunning; elegant but stylish and perfect for her 9 months pregnancy. Simply white flowers and a soft, long cape completed her style as a winter bride. Fabrizio was dressed matching in a soft silver suit. They celebrated in the beautiful Abbey of St. Urban, built in 1194 which has the size of a castle. The huge ballroom will be used for many weddings, the old library, holding very antique books were the perfect place for a small reception. The ceremony was very personal and loving. People know I love Winter time. Even Winter weddings are rare in Switzerland, they are always very special. The snow changes the landscapes into beautiful, soft light.

Endlich Schnee im Flachland! Die tiefen Temperaturen versprachen, diese Hochzeit in eine schneereiche Winterhochzeit zu verwandeln – und es war so!
Christine buchte mich 1 Woche vor ihrer Hochzeit. Während einige Brautpaare 2 Jahre ihrem einzigartigen Tag entgegenfiebern, plante Christine gerade mal 3 Wochen. Dabei zaubert der Schnee, der die Landschaft in eine einzigartige Farbe verwandelt, eine ganz spezielle Atmosphäre und wunderbares Licht. Christines Kleid war ein Traum von Spitze; elegant, stilvoll und perfekt passend zu ihrem 9 Monate Babybauch. Weisse Ranunkeln und ein Ivory Umhang haben ihrem Stil vollendet. Fabrizio trug einen passenden, silbernen Anzug. Sie feierten ihre Winterhochzeit im ehemaligen Kloster von St. Urban, welches 1194 erbaut wurde. Mit seinen grossen, imposante Räumen, dem fantastischen Ballsaal und der Bibliothek mit antiken Büchern erinnert der Ort fast mehr an ein Schloss. Perfekt für den Hochzeitsapéro.
