Oh, how I love international Weddings! Laura was born in Mexico, her mom is from Columbia and her dad from Italy.  What a spirit that day – what fun!

They surround a great kindness and above all a great taste for style. They knew excactly what they wanted for their big day; and they made it happen. When a couple add their personality and their own style into a wedding day you can be sure it will be wonderful.

At her wedding morning I met Laura at her parents house. There were at least 10 people there (I stopped counting at one point), and everybody made me feel at home. The whole house was full of a special chemistry of excitment and a bit of nervousness. Wedding-smell – I love it! Lauras bridal style was breathtaking. Her elegant Pronovias dress was completed with a birdcage veil and Casadei wedding shoes.  While many wonderful moments happened at the bridal house, Jonas had a relaxed lunch with his best man. I have completely fallen for his original swiss clockwerk Cufflinks. What an incredible idea and so unique. In the bride’s flower bouquet hidden was a small locker, Jonas boutonniere – carried the key. The couple embroidered unique handkerchiefs for their parents, with each a special message on it.

Laura was escorted by a rolls royce to the church, awaited by her father to lead down the aisle into the stunning church of St. Katharinental. Seeing his bride, Jonas eyes were glowing and he gently kissed her hand. What a moment. The reception took place outside under the big trees, which spent some shadow at this 34 degree hot day. One of my favorite photos that day,  was the picture of Laura, her Mom and her Grandmom holding their hands together and showing their wedding bands. So much history combined in a single photo. Generations.

The dinner Location was the beautiful setting of the Gasthaus Schupfen, directly at the river Rhine with a private location just for the couple and their wedding party. Among a beautiful sunset, the guests enjoyed a delicious barbeque. At night and after a delicious dinner,  water lanters where set into the river and it was so stunning, watching them floating by into the night. True magic was happen…
